4CHAN was a community of people who delved so deep into the shittyness of internet subculture, that we defined what it was, and it was shit, and we recognised that. We created our community, over time, on the basis that it’s al pretty much shit anyways, and so we revelled in our little nerdy memes and inside jokes. But suddenly, all our old jokes and material, and basically our personalities and subculture, has becoming THAT HIP NEW THING.
